Younger generations, especially Gen Z , are rethinking work entirely, opting for freelancing or consulting careers that offer autonomy and flexibility. This requires the maturity to set aside personal interests, engage with curiosity, and communicate with transparency and compassion.
People in these positions complete all need-to-do items around the office, helping employees do their best work and keeping the office operating as smoothly as possible. Any entry-level administrator will probably find themselves: Managing officecommunications—fielding organizational phone calls, emails, and traditional mail.
If you’re seeing a push for a lot more control over casual, low-stakes internal communications, that can be a pretty big change and it could indeed be worth a conversation about the likely implications for culture and morale.
