Overweight employee keeps breaking officechairs. We have an obese employee who has broken several officechairs. We purchased two new ones just for her with a higher weight ability. As a result, she has used other chairs in the office and broken them. She again broke the base of one of them.
And how directly involved with money/purchasing is his job?” It’s a replacement officechair. It’s a MID-RANGE OFFICECHAIR, not even a fancy one! The company is going to purchase X and isn’t going to do Y to spend less. We need to move on now.”. * “Please order the chair I’ve marked.
We were also allowed to take literally anything we wanted from the office, just as long as we notified the office manager; I took a monitor and a few cables (plus several office plants) but I had coworkers who took literally everything, including the officechair. It was brilliant.
My role was to open and then manage a new sales office. As part of my very, very generous package, my employer purchased a lovely SUV. Also, there must be legal issues regarding an employer forcing an employee to spend money on something they don’t want to have. Great, right!?
