I was expected to bring my own tech, yet no one told me in the interview, offer, or before I showed up for my first day. It’s also super weird that they didn’t tell you this until your first day, just for logistical reasons (like so you’d know to bring it, or so you could raise the issue if you didn’t have one).

It’s their computer too, yes, but when you share space and equipment like that, you need to be considerate of the people you’re sharing it with; generally that means not taping up bible verses directly on the computer they will be using (which is much more in your face than, say, something on a shared wall would be). You’re not overreacting.
