When housekeeping did a deep clean at night, they always said strange stuff would happen. There is also a tiny balcony behind the control booth where we have screens that face the main hall and that we use to advertise upcoming events, memberships, etc. Things would go missing and items in the souvenir shop would be moved.

It was always advertised as a this-month-only thing, but the same promotion was renewed for May 2021, June 2021, and so on, all the way until December 2022. Someone from facilities would refill the coffee stuff, collect the quarters and clean daily and the residents of that floor were responsible for making the pots of coffee.

Stuff like this doesn’t get better unless there’s serious commitment to change at the top, and even then it’s really hard and takes a long time (unless you get someone who comes in and cleans house, and then there’s a long recovery process which is hard in a different way). liked vs. respected.
