I’m not allowed to buy my own office chair. Having big issues with my back pain and several scary looking diagnoses, I asked our manager if I can buy an ergonomic chair with high adjustability and pay for it myself. The answer was “no, I am not sure we are insured for this.” What are my rights and options in this regard?
